I decided I needed something to kick start me back into blogging more regularly.
So I came across something called a 30 Day Song Challenge , with prompts already designed for me. Each day for 30 days, I will share with you a song and I want you to feel free to share with me as well!
So the topic for Day One is- A Song You Discovered This Month.
As you may or may not know, I write for Screamer Magazine. Just recently I had the opportunity to review a new album by Dennis DeYoung, formerly of Styx. The album is called 26 East, Vol. 1 and I would definitely recommend you check it out. Click on the album title to read my review.
A super sweet song from the album is actually a duet between DeYoung and Julian Lennon called, To The Good Old Days. The video is definitely a very personal video, featuring video clips of the singer’s personal life: childhood, marriage and the early days of Styx. I just found it to be a very heartfelt video and I thought you should check it out!

I think the most recent song I’ve come across that I am digging is Broken and Beautiful by Kelly Clarkson. It was last month, though. 🙂
