Hey guys! I do several programs where I answer surveys and things like that and earn points that can be redeemed for gift cards. Recently I earned some Amazon gift codes and I already knew what I was going to use them on:
So while it doesn’t have the name “instant pot”, it seems to have about the same functionality and was cheaper, so I went for it. I also have other Bella products that I like, so I trust the brand.
I also purchased the Kindle version of this book:
So my question is, who has an instant pot and do you have any fun suggestions/ recipe ideas? I haven’t received mine yet, so I haven’t tried it at all. But I am excited to give it a try. If I find any fun new ideas, I will be sure to post them here when I get the chance.
Let me know in the comments any suggestions you might have?
Hey folks! Well, I know I have been a bad, bad blogger and website owner. But I promise that I have plans to update many things here and blog more often. I am working on my list of blog posts, but I have product reviews, book reviews, products for sale and much more to add!
Also, I recently won a giveaway on another blog and plan to review the items that I won for you all. If you want to take a peek at what I won, take a look: Holiday Kitchen Bundle.
And just for something cute, here are some cute little carts that I bought recently. I plan to use them for craft displays.
Hey everybody! I recently received a product to review and I am going to be sharing that with you today!
The Bible Journaling Kit from Ellie Claire, a division of Worthy Publishing Group, is a fun and crafty way to read and journal.
When I opened the box, I was actually surprised at how much stuff was in it!
The best part is the pouch, with adjustable strap that is mean to fit on Bibles of all sizes. It could also strap on to your journal or any other book that you might want to pair it with. It’s super cute too! And you can throw in all of your supplies!
There is a ruled page protector mat with tracing lines.
Also a journaling pen.
8 colored pencils. The fun kind that you don’t have to sharpen. Just twist!
And LOTS of stickers, some with words, some just letters, and also tabs if you want to throw those on your Bible or even in a journal!
You can use all of the products directly on your Bible, or if you would prefer, you could definitely use them in a journal. Highlight your favorite verses, whatever you want!
And lucky you, have TWO opportunities to win one for yourself!
1 – The Company themselves are giving away five kits. Just go to the following link to enter and also print some free coloring pages! http://www.sharethesebooks.com/copy-of-bible-journaling-kit-givaw

“Can’t say enough about this book! Wonderful! Deborah Garner is a wonderful writer! She makes you feel like you are right there with Paige and Jake. I loved the setting of Hutchins Creek and the characters were all great. I was on pins and needles and even shed a tear or two. I can’t wait for more of this series!” – review from Goodreads

“Delightful . Loved the explorations into the old mines and the side love stories. Mist was a special person with exceptional insight.” – review of The Moonglow Cafe
“The author does a great job in vividly describing the resort, town and surrounding landscape, she makes you feel like you are actually there. She also has a gift for making her characters come to life.” – review of Three Silver Doves

My Thoughts:
I have actually read another of this author’s books, another of the Paige Mackenzie Mysteries- Three Silver Doves. I was glad to get a chance to read another. I will state again that even if you haven’t read any others in the series, you should be able to jump in and read this one without any confusion.
The author does a great job at character development, as well as creating likeable characters whose stories you want to follow. Of course there is a mystery and I wouldn’t tell you what happens! There were times I thought that I knew whodunnit, but turns out I was wrong!
Any of the books in this series or by this author are worth a read!

I just realized that my plug-in that shares my blog posts to Facebook and Twitter wasn’t working recently, so I’m seeing if it is now working again!
That’s all!
Heartbreaker Connor Hart, one of the youngest fire chiefs in the country, is planning on marrying Dr. Elaine Woo, a woman who pretended to cheat on him with his best friend many years ago. She bought him a Dalmatian puppy, he gave her a ring—and the women of San Francisco are about to lose their most eligible bachelor.
Artist and poet Nadine Woo is down on her luck. The cast-off half-sister of Dr. Elaine Woo, she doesn’t measure up, according to her strict and distant father. When Nadine and her mother are about to be evicted from their apartment, she gets an interesting offer from her sister. Seems she’s in need of a little help concerning her relationship with Fire Chief Connor Hart.
As soon as Nadine meets Connor, she knows she’s in for a rough ride. Connor is the fireman who rescued her and her little gray kitten, and she’s never forgotten how safe she felt in his arms.
When Nadine takes her sister’s place at a spring fling weekend with Connor, love ignites, and there’s no going back.
Can a spunky little kitty show Connor and Nadine that doing the wrong thing is sometimes right, especially when it comes to love?
Spring Fling Kitty is Book #3 of the Have A Hart Romance Series. It can be read standalone, although characters from the previous books appear here in supporting roles.
MY THOUGHTS
I definitely thought this was a cute story. I didn’t even realize until later on that this was book 3 in a series, so I can speak to the fact that it can definitely be read standalone. The addition of the animals in the storyline was a fun touch that I found quite endearing.
I will say that there were a few bits of romantic conversation that, to me, seemed slightly unrealistic, perhaps something that something just wouldn’t say, especially after knowing someone for just a couple of days. But I am not romance hater, so I overlooked those bits and paid attention to the story underneath it.
And let me tell you, the ending was definitely not anything I was expecting! Of course I won’t tell you what happens, but let me say that I think that unexpected twist in the story was my favorite part of the book. All in all, this was a sweet story and I would not hesitate to check out more of this author’s books.

Hi Bloggy Friends!
I have been a little under the weather and haven’t posted anything for a bit!
There are posts on the way!! I promise!
Thanks for hanging in there!
Hey everyone!
I am putting together an upcoming blog post and I am asking for your assistance.
I am compiling a list of winter beverages for grown-ups, and by that I mean ones with booze!
I have some in mind already, but I would love to add some more. Are there any favorites any of you have?
Please let me know!
Did you know that September is National Honey Month? Well it is, so in honor of that, I thought I would share with you some of amazing uses for honey. Some of these you probably already know about, but hopefully you will find out something new about the sweet stuff.
According to the National Honey Board, a tablespoon of raw honey contains 64 calories, is fat-free, cholesterol-free, and sodium-free and is composed of about 80% carbohydrates, 18 percent water, and 2 percent vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
- Allergies This one I know about personally. Some may say it’s a myth, but I believe it works. Taking a spoonful of local honey can help relieve seasonal allergy symptoms. It also works as a cough suppressant.
2. Dandruff
Supposedly, you can apply honey, diluted with 10 percent warm water to areas affected by dandruff. Leave it on for three hours before rinsing though!
3. Treat Wounds and Burns
Honey is a natural antibiotic and can be used to disinfect wounds from bacteria.
4. Lip Balm
You can make your own with beeswax and honey or maybe pick up some Burt’s Bees.
5. Remove Parasites I hope I don’t ever have to test this one out, but apparently you can mix some honey, water and vinegar to get rid of parasites
6. Hangover Help Have some honey in the morning after partying too hard. The fructose will help speed up the metabolism of the alcohol.
Of course, there are many other uses, but there are a few to get you thinking.
Are there any other uses for honey that you would like to share?
