March 2020 Update

Hey, hey, hey everybody! Well, it’s apparently been a long, long time since I’ve posted anything here. I’m back!!

Well, it seems like my life has been affected by this whole thing that is going on right now. I don’t think I need to tell you what it is. All three of my jobs are now closed for who knows how long. But instead of sitting around feeling sorry for myself, I’ve decided to take the time to focus on some things I have been procrastinating on or slowly working on but not being able to spend enough time on.

I had already started working on updates to this website. If you have been here in the past you will notice that it looks different and I have a new logo! I have some book reviews coming for you soon too. The shopping page at this exact moment is really just a test to see which way I like it, but I hope to get that all updated soon so you can purchase products directly from my site. Here are a couple of projects I worked on recently:

I felt judged when I blew my nose, folks.
Super awesome skull tote bag.

Also to update you on some things that have happened in the first few months. I hosted my first glass etching class and it was super fun. I hope to have some more of these when everyone is done social distancing.

Etching it up!

I also met Phil Joel from the Newsboys. Love his hair!

Yeah, we are pals.

So here is what else I plan to spending my time on while I’m home. I am continuing to make freezer meals and just made a few this weekend.

I have gained more weight than I like and I plan to work out EVERY DAY during this time, and eat better of course. Maybe people won’t recognize me when I go back to work! I started today! I of course will continue crafting, and hopefully people will still be purchasing some of my creations. I still sell Scentsy, Damsel in Defense and Color Street too! I’m hoping to practice some music and photography as well. This should give me time to catch up on all of the cleaning I have been putting off as well.

Also, in case you have forgotten because I haven’t done it a lot lately, I also write for Screamer Magazine. It’s been difficult to do much lately because of the whole three jobs thing. So I should have some time to do that as well.

Well, I think that’s a good start. What are you going to do to stay productive?
