[scroll-box]
NEW RELEASE….
When NY reporter Paige MacKenzie leaves Manhattan for Jackson Hole, she has only two things on her mind: enjoy life with Wyoming’s breathtaking Grand Tetons as the backdrop, and spend more time with handsome cowboy Jake Norris as he prepares to open his guest ranch.
As Paige begins to settle in, a stranger’s odd behavior leads her to research western filming in the area – in particular, the movie, Shane. Will digging into Hollywood’s movie connection with Jackson Hole simply lead to a freelance article for the Manhattan Post, or will it lead to a dangerous hidden secret?

MY THOUGHTS
This is the third book I have read by Deborah Garner, and I have enjoyed each one so far. Although it might help to have read some of the previous books, but the author does a great job of filling the reader in on enough background info that it is not hard to follow along. Paige has a tendency to get herself into some crazy situations, when her intention is just to relax or write a story for the paper she works for. Her reporter’s nose always leads her into something she did not intend to get involved in.
Each of Garner’s books I have read are easy reads and this was no exception. If you had enough time set aside, you might even get through it in one sitting. I love being able to follow up on Paige’s romantic relationship and see how that has grown. And as Paige is doing research for her story on the history of film in Jackson Hole, I found myself googling some of the names myself. I was hoping for a little more action in the story a little earlier on, as it seems to all come at the end, but I was intrigued enough by the story that I wasn’t bothered too much. I look forward to following Paige’s adventures in the future and catching up on ones that I missed.
I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.
